Mental Health Services CPHI.

Mental Health is a state of emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood, and adolescence through adulthood.

The Centre for Population Health Initiatives run a mental health clinic that is managed by a visiting psychiatrist and other in-house mental health experts. We are aware that stigma and discrimination, mental health issues and psychosocial needs are pressing needs our clients could be saddled with, as part of our commitment to holistic services we have seen mental health services as a sacrosanct part of the services our clients requires. A balanced and integrated services is our core responsibility to our facility users, it has become very important to provide mental health and psychosocial support services to allow for a complete health intervention.

Human Right and Advocacy.

The rights of our clients are synonymous to the universal human rights. Human rights are universal and every human being around the world should be treated with dignity and equality. Freedom of speech, privacy, access to healthcare, life, liberty and security as well adequate standard of living is a must have for everyone.

At the Centre for Population Health Initiatives, the right of our clients are respected at every level, this is not just limited to meeting health needs alone but tailored to ensure that clients are treated with fairness, equity and justice. We also advocate the rights of our clients at all levels of care, and seek for legal support when necessary with other implementing partners in a case of human right violation our clients might have suffered in the course trying to reach our services, or in their communities.
